I'm back again!! After missing for more than half year. It had been such a busy year for me. Non-stop working due to my bosses new housing development in almost every corner of the City. Always unlimited time but yet I'm getting older each day. LOL.. and sigh~ Luckily I took leave in Feb and went travelling with my beloved frens for a week...Missed that moment so much!!! And took another 1 week for bro's wedding in May.

Let's finger-crossed that I'll be travelling again this September!!! To attend my Cousin Josh wedding in Edmonton!!! Really need a break from all these workload. Can't wait for Nov and Dec too, will be attending Cousin Linus's wedding in Brunei which will be in Empire Hotel...yeay...cant wait to stay in that Hotel!!! And Dec for a bestfriend's wedding in Ipoh!!! Oh My, so many weddings!!

Anyway, here's what I did during the 2 days Gawai Holiday. Did Pistachio Macarons too but sadly it failed. So baking again tomorrow...wish me luck!!

Great!! I'm updating now!!
My blog is not dead (yet), so do visit once in awhile..hehe

Well, just got back from my 2wks holiday last Oct...haha..which i'd tons of fun there with my beloved Aussie family and lovable bestie, Christine!! Travelling and transitting alone sux big time! To Perth there's only 1 transit. Thank goodness for that. Luckily not to Canada, which altogether 4 transit..sigh..if not I'll be bored and crazy alone at the airport.. LOL

It was my 1st time to Perth and I'm loving it. If u ask me to chose between Perth & Edmonton, I'll go for Edmonton!! Cos of the SNOW!! Haha...It's snowing now and I miss celebrating Christmas in Canada!! Part of my life feels so empty in such a sudden, cos in my opinion celebrating Christmas should be a snowy season. Building snowman with my niece, Kass! But its difficult to build snowman in Edmonton, cos its just too dry. Celebrating Christmas in Malaysia is just so plain boring, if u get what i mean!! Aww...anyone wanna sponsor me to Canada?!! I wanna visit my family there again and see my new born niece, Uriyah!!

Alright, skipping to my Perth trip..I went over at the right time cos my aunt & her family just moved back to their old house which they demolish and rebuild last yr. Really nice house with 7 bedrooms & 4 toilets...3 kitchen ...1 TV room & etc!! I gained 3kg from all the eating and drinking there..haha..awesome food!! Just gonna skip some info about my trip, cos am just too lazy to write bout everything. I arrived in Perth airport very early in the morning at 5.45am, and went through the custom declaration was really smooth and steady, it only takes like less than 2min. Christine came to fetch me and it was so so cold that morning...and we met up with my childhood frens, Aileen & Vera from Miri for breakfast at Miss Maud. It was good to catch up with them thou. I have not seen Vera for more than 15 yrs, i think!

Then went to my Aunt's home at Rhonda Avenue!! Settle down everything and shower of cos!! Haha..then went out again! Sigh!! I was really really tired & sleepy at that time.. But well, still need to spend time with my family. My Aunt & cousin, Simon bought me to Caversham Wildlife Park!! Then to Fremantle for fish & chips the next day!

The rest of the days, everyone have to work and so I spent mon- wed daytime at home watching my TV series!! And being well fed by my uncle who was the only person not working. Haha.. my uncle is an awesome cook!! But I spent most of my night life with Christine at wonderful supper places at Leederville, Subiaco & Fremantle!! And Thurs- Sun daytime with Christine too cos she only works 3 days a week!! Haha

I love spending time with my nieces too, Esther & Rebecca!! We even spend time viewing the family facebook profiles & photos on TV!! And trying out watching 3d movie in the TV room too.. awesome!! Fruits is a must after dinner, see how much fruits we had!! All cut by my Taiwanese cousin-in-law.

Love the beaches there too...met a friendly 6-pack guy too...awwhh He offered to help us take photos at Sorrento beach!!

We drove there for 4hrs +, only reach our destination around 8pm!! We took the old road, that's why ...haha.. we went winery tour by ourselves using the map the next day after breakfast!! Starting off around 8.30am but all winery opened at 9am..haha... and we went wine tasting and fine dining at one of the winery there, we had a great time yea!! Will definitely visit again when i go over!!

Macarons in Perth too!! I'm craving for Macarons from San Churo & Choc Block NOW!!! I brought back some Macarons back to Miri for my sister too..haha

I love shopping in Perth!!! Bought 4 pairs of shoes!! Haha..so happy!! And clothes and lotsa CHOCOLATES from Woolworth!!!

We went paparazz-ing too...on Perth beautiful houses!!

Last but not least, the best part of my trip!!!

OMGawddd...3 TIMESSS!!

Cos I was seasick and same goes to Christine!! Lousy la both of us!! But she was better than me cos she didn't puke, which I did...TWICE in the toilet of cos!! $70 was worth it man..totally worth the money..THE MOTHER, THE CHILD & THE ESCORT...3 of them were really nice to us, flipping, jumping and floating on their back...which was really rare to see them playing around throughout the trip according to the tour guide. We were lucky that day!!

LOL...here's my delayed post on my April break back to KL and visiting Penang for the 3rd time!! A week break is kinda short thou but still really happy to see some of my friends back in KL...cant wait for my Oct break!!! Hehe...for 2 wks this time. I hate transiting!!! Hopefully, I'll remember to apply my travel visa before Oct!! * touchwood

So here's the photos taken during my 1 wk break. Enjoy!! I met YunG at the airport as she was transitting to Perth via KL so we were at the same flight. While me & 3 friends were transitting Penang via KL, flight delayed for about 1 hr...damn it AirAsia..lol..very very common thou...Arrived Penang in the evening, check-in Hotel and went to Gurney Plaza to meet our friend who happened to be our ex colleague working there.

On the 2nd day, I was sick...had an asthmatic morning and suffered from fever in the afternoon. This is really bad!! Our friends brought us out for one whole day and I felt really miserable being sick. Didnt had the mood to enjoy and take photos. Damn it. What a bad holiday for me!! My friend, Andy had to bring me to the doctor so that the medications help me to recover. I felt so bad about it. =(

Thank God! I felt better on the 3rd day...hehe..it was our last day in Penang!! Our flight to KL got delayed again, this time for almost 2 hrs.. damn

We arrived in KL in the evening time. Arrived in Mont Kiara Condo really late. Got the condo keys from the neighbour then settled down everything in the condo before going off dinner with my 4 best buddies. We had our late dinner at Souled Out nearby my condo...awwhhh...i missed that place. It was good to the guys again, playful as usual!!! Haha

Our trip back to KL, I had to be the tour guide so everything is well planned by me. Hehe.. I had appointment with Mr. H on the next day...He had to travel all the way from Klang just to see me & my friends. How grateful. We had lunch together at Marche then we proceed to my fav place...IKEA.. Oh man, mum's shopping list is killing me. Then we had korean cuisine for dinner with my dearest Godbro, Watson and Sue. It was good to see you both again!!

Then it was our Shopping day!!

Then evening came again, I left the girls at the condo. Yea, I Know!! I'm so evil to leave them at home but I have no choice cos the guys wanna meet me only. Chilling out at La Bodega, Pavillion and had the "interview session" with them. Damn...being interviewed by them is so not fun at all. Haha

The next day, went to another fav place ...1U!! Its like my most frequently hang out mall when am back in Uni. Brought them for a movie too..something more relaxing cos We need to save energy for the night scene. LOL

We went to Zouk in the evening time...And also to celebrate my BJs Partner, Ruby's bday!!! Haha..Birthday surprise all crash cos Ruby couldnt give me the answer of how many frens is she bringing. Was worried that she cant make it too. Luckily Peter and Lester were around to help me out. Haha..so I have KL & Mirian friends altogether with me that night. Was glad to see Ruby & Jacinta too!!! After so many years, my dear Jamie couldnt make it as she was in Malacca so too bad then. We had an awesome night!!!

More shopping...went to Bangsar LRT station and taught the girls how to travel with the LRT...hehe..I remember Uncle Richard was the first person to teach me and Aileen!! And now its my turn..haha. We went to KLCC, Aquaria, Pavillion & StarHill. Was suppose to meet my friends in KLCC but I forgotten bout it. Ah meng, So sorry ah!! Hope to see you in Oct then!

Our last night in KL!! Oh man, time passes by so quickly. My friends brought us to Genting for yam-cha'ing session ...Haha...travelled in 3 cars. And we only spent 4 hrs there..damn sad. Everyone were tired!!

Our last day in KL, met up with my make-up artist darling, Shammy & Weei boon. They brought us to Bangsar for lunch before we head to the airport. It's good to see ya, babe!

Its all about holiday and friends..
Just couldn't wait for my next vacation
This time not only visiting friends but family too...
Cant wait for Lovely Oct Spring to come..
Hopefully I can handle the cold since am able to handle the winter in Edmonton thou....I miss Canada & the family there =)

Neglecting my blog is so my attitude these days, am always busy with something else. LOL....I just can't help it!!! Anyway, gonna make this a quick one thou. I'll blog bout my trip back to KL some other day cos wanna start with the important ones.

IMPORTANT EVENT: I would like to congrats my dearest godbro, Daniel for his engagement last week on 12 June. Congrats bro!!! You're the FIRST in the FAMILY TREE!! Me & Chris felt so OLD!!! Hahaha... We are so happy for you, Daniel!!! I hope all the FAMILY TREE Members will be able to attend your BIG DAY!!! It's gonna be a great one!!! Here's a photo of us with the Happy Couple!!!

Then the next day, I attended my friend's Glamorous White Birthday Party at Coco's... around 100++ family & friends were there. Love the decoration but it's kinda pity the photos that the photographer took, turns out to be kinda dark. I gotta photoshop a little bit so that it brighten up for my layouts here. Oh well, everything turns out to be an awesome party thou!!

That's our last outing with BerNerd before he goes back to UK. Had supper at Secret Recipe again but this time not just the 2 of us. Daniel, Stephen & Heidi Tan were there too, so Chris..u can imagine what happen when there's Stephen & BerNerd around!!! Then after that, hanging out at Bintang Mall. Everyone went back home pretty early and I didnt hug BerNerd this time cos I didnt hug Chris too when she went back Perth. So it's equal!! LOL

Previous months, I had lotsa makan-ing session too ..mostly celebration so just let the photos do the talking...okie dokie

Finally, visitors from Canada!!
My extended family members that I met in Canada last Dec came back to Miri for a visit....Was so glad to see them again

It's November already!!
Time flies..Sigh!! Gonna be another yr older again soon..
Busy bee on the way...

My showhouses is on its 70% to complete and had been busy with material and ordering stuff. Just today, my boss asked me to go over his office to decide all the things with him & carpenters. His so-called driver came fetching me at 9.30am but I only get to go meeting with my boss at 11.30. So damn angry ah!! There's around 5 others queuing up in his office, waiting to meet him so I waited in the meeting room instead. When it's my turn, we only managed to discuss for 45min & ask me to go for lunch then continue the discussion....then he flee away in his BMW...-_-"....to dont know WHERE??!! Darn it!!!

While waiting for him to come back, my lady boss asked me if I wanna order any picture frame or canvas painting from China, so I browse through happily accordingly the catalogue..haha..everythings' in USD so need to convert before I place my order....of cos all the ordering dont take 3 hrs... But my boss only comes back to have meeting with me at 3.30pm...so pissed & tired of waiting la. Only went back my showroom at 5pm!! Due to my low blood ....got myself headache while waiting.. =( He always make everyone wait for him for hours...Cham ah!! Big company, what to do!! Luckily I only encounter this few months once..pity my other colleagues then..=p Haha

It's so weird that when I was in Vancouver, Aunty Jennifer wanted to bring me to watch Twilight with the girls but I told her that it's not necessary since I'm not interested in that movie. Yea, I did read the books if you noticed some of my brunei trip post. Hrmm..didnt finish reading it thou so I thought it was boring. Haha

After hearing so much good comments from fellow friends about how good the movie was. Haha..then I decided to give it a try....and guess I was wrong about it. Now you see, how addicted am I right now. Like watching LOTR & Harry Potter over & over again...Hahaha...I know some uncle & aunty from church won't want the kids to watch all these movies thou. LOL..Just so speechless eh!! It's just a movie, it wont harm us. Cheer!! =D

I'm back again!! Hehe... Well, nothing much has happened lately but just some happy moment with dearest friends. One of my good friend from KL make a surprise visit to Miri. Aileen happened to be taking a day off, and so my guess was, both of them planned about this surprise visit months ahead to make my day. Aileen called me to check if I'm working so that she could visit me but I didnt know she was coming with someone which apparently walking behind Aileen. They were walking forward to my office room and this mysterious girl was walking in style with her sunglasses and head looking at the floor.

I was curious who the heck is that girl, question marks were appearing everywhere. LOL..as she was jumping forward to surprise me, I screamed with happiness. My colleagues were curious about my loud screamed!! Haha. I couldnt believe to see her in Miri..Aww...she's so sweet!! I almost burst into tears too. But sadly she was here just for a night. Cos Aileen have to go back to SG, and fly off to London then to NYC. Nice right being air stewardess!! I'm so envy,ya know!! Here's the camwhores in the car!!

Even though Bernard is back from Sheffield, we didn't get to hang out that often. He's always busy and Stephen run away to KK all the time. Daniel ler, haiya speechless ah that fella. Hahaha... I still prefer Christine to be back here..haha..and of cos Daphne which is busy with her flying routine with CP Airline. Another air stewardess from Miri with her wonderful job!! Travelling for free is sure a fun thing to do eh! Here's our 2nd hang out..sadly just me & Bernard.

And here's the fish fillet which tastes awfully...it's just too much..there's the before (top) & after(bottom) piccie!!

Then we went for our 2nd round at Secret recipe for early supper..LOL..so fattening ah!! Blame Bernard for it!! We called Christine in Perth..haha..then Bernard's phone credit went negative after chatting for a few mins...haha

So much on food nowdays..darn!!

Gosh, looks like I've been missing in action for some time. Quite active in FB thou!! Haha. I've been really busy for months now, busy schedules with showhouse, showroom, site, suppliers, clients & drawings. If you wanna make appointment with me, please submit appointment form to my secretary. So that she can arrange the time for you. Hehehe!! Am really that busy, just couldnt stop. Ever since the company's housing development completed, clients come looking for me non stop. Blame the boss!! Darn!! Why make me to be the one who in charge of the ID...120+ houses ler. Ahhh....I need a break!!! Can't wait for my holiday la...back to KL & to Perth..hehe

Anyway, here's some recent photo. Some of the company suppliers from the West came to Miri for the company once in a year big event. Therefore, me & the colleagues planned the night event to Club Infinity without the boss knowing. Or else, we'll be in big trouble. Haha ...

You may remember a while back that I mention about a friend of mine getting married in June & I'm being selected to be one of her "chi mui". It was my first time being "chi mui" and me being me, someone who loves to be the leader..haha.. being naughty all the time. I did my part of listing down the wedding games to torture the "heng tais". But sadly some were taken out from the list because lack of material & stuff.

Especially the banana game- peel off the bananas then "heng tais" take turn to hold the banana, placing at the position where the private part of a man's body is...haha...YES!! I know what you're thinking!!! And you're so right about it!!! Then "heng tais" are force to eat by kneeling down facing that area where the fake d**k is...lol..Crazy right..but its once in a lifetime ma!! So let's have some fun but darn...I didn't manage to find big banana in the market so it was cancelled. =(

Because I'm half Melanau and I love eating sago worms..yummy!! Haha..And so eating sago worms ALIVE is what did I think about & its gonna be one of the memorable game for the "heng tais". But it's kinda difficult to find sago worms in Miri unless I did asked someone to help me buy some back from Mukah. Darn..too late thou! Next time then!! =p

Then another one was wearing pink bras & panties..hehe. And of cos the "heng tais" don't need to take off their clothes, just wear onto it. Then they have to pose whatever we ask them to do. Not forgetting take photos of them posing. Darn. It's so out of budget & don't want Florence's money to flow on such wasted materials.

Florence did mention that she doesn't want us to play too harsh on her darling & "heng tais" so being her understanding friend..lol. I reduce the nastiness & played the pretty clean games & all the "chi muis" agreed & go ahead with my ideas. Phew...

Here's photos of us, the night before Florence's big day. We were at her house, discussing & preparing the games. We even had lipsticks session!! Hehe

The morning of the big day, woke up pretty early just to prepare special breakfast for the "heng tais"...Bread spread with Wasabi & Thai Chili Sauce. My friend suggested that I spread Wasabi with Sugar as it will taste even more spicy. Haha..But since Florence requested not to be harsh to her dearest so in the end I didnt put sugar.

If I'm not wrong, the "heng tais" arrived the bride's house around before 8am. It's getting even more excited then. The "chi muis" just can't wait to torture the groom & his "heng tais". Before we start our games, they lits the firecrackers for wonderful noise of celebration.

After the #4 game, they went away for meeting -_-" so fast wanna give up. Hahaha. Our spy in blue went over and heard them saying that they gonna attack us. Haha. They came back but no attack were made so we continue our #5 game.

Then they attacked us straight away after the #5 game. See the "heng tais" put lotsa force to push us away. Luckily no one was hurt.

The "chi muis" are not stupid at all. The door to the bride's room was locked and keys is with one of the "chi muis". So they still have to continue the games..haha

After the games, its time for chinese tea ceremony just for the family. Then we head to CityFan Chinese Garden, the couples went for photoshoot session.

Evening to the Wedding Reception where we were the biggest group to voice out the traditional "Yum Seng" aka Wedding Toast to the newlywed couple. And at the end of the wedding reception, we had our funny & crazy photoshoot with the photographer, Ignitius.

Not done yet...haha..we went for yam cha-ing session after that where I suggest to go to Al Fresco. And enjoy my Margarita!!

☆ Sushi & DQ Ice Cream treats ☆

Couple of weeks ago, we had lotsa great fun when Chris was back from Perth. Yea, I know, a bit late. But still I'm gonna post up some lovely photos we took. We traveled to Brunei twice just for our fav Sushi & DQ ice-cream..hehe

Here's our 1st trip...we travel to KB after Sunday Mass.
Health checking in Brunei was a quick one thou..hehe..Just filling up the form and went through the process of examining the body temperature in the room

Then we had Sushi at Escapade Sushi in KB, and be able to reach there on time since we booked a table for 7 of us at 1130am.

After lunch, we went to Seria for our fav DQ ice-cream...nyum nyum

After all the eating, we went back to KB for groceries shopping at Supa Save..hehe..Happy me of cos...

Time to head home ...another health check back to Miri.
Just filling up the form and don't need to go through any scanner system..lol..
so not appropriate right..!!

We traveled to Brunei again on the next sunday..hehe
Just 4 of us girls... meeting up the girls' Curtin's friend, Benjamin & his dear, Michelle. And again, lunch at Escapade Sushi.. hehe

And again, DQ Ice-cream after lunch!! This time we had special service from DQ staff. They came to our car to place our order...so nice of them..we just need to stay in the car & wait for our ice-cream...what a special treatment, eh!

Wow, its been a while since the last post. Sorry for disappearing!! Had been really busy with lotsa happening event. LOL . Before the main course, lets start with appertizer. Are you into pole dancing for fitness?? Dance move that makes you look sexy and hot like Pussycat Dolls!!!?? Don't get me wrong, I'm not into it but I do love how pole dancers move and swing though. Few of my friends are into it and one of them got shortlisted and she's on her way to the Grand Finale of Pole Stars 2009.

Definitely a once in a blue moon thing to see yours truly hanging out at the pub or clubbing these days. Enjoying every single moment with great companions with laughter. Miss the good old KL clubbing momento with my buddies, surely is a stress-free time when you're overload with too much mind thinking work. Haha

Went to Al Fresco as a starter and sight seeing as well. LOL... Met a few friends and bumped into Marilyn who happen to be in the Ladies room too. And she was surprised to see me and said that hardly see me hanging out at club or pub these days. Hahaha..it's her lucky day then!!

One of my close friend happen to knows most of the people who owns any of the club and pub or even major company due to her powerful dark background in miri and so she will always let me know who is the owner of this and that company. Interesting!!

After Al Fresco, we head to Cheerie Berries. After 60 second, we walked out due to the lousy live band. It wasn't that nice thou so we head to Balcony instead. Oh My!!! Horrible la, all seems to be underage kids!! LOL, I think I had not been there for ages. Saw this tiny girl kept dancing non-stop, something is not right with her. Damn!! My friend then mentioned she had taken the 'K' so thats why she overly high in the air. I heard too many stories of people taking all those dangerous pill lately. Why can't they love themselves!! =(

I know this post gonna be bored but still am gonna post it up. I realized when there's a small TV screen in your car, you'll get distracted especially for the driver of cos. And it's so small, I can barely see a thing unless during the night time. Sometimes I think it's a waste of money to put those TV screen for people like me who spent more time on the computer. Haha. Random photo taken during lunch time when my colleague was driving her Airtrek back to work.

When I got back from lunch today, saw this gorgeous car parked at our company parking lot. Me & my colleagues were so crazy about it. One of my colleague mention that its her dream car. She has a nice car too, a black modified Honda Civic 2.0s with 20" Mercedes Rims which cost 6k but her husband just sold it last week for 120k. Cos the buyer was so crazy over her car that he kept bugging them while they were in Thailand for vacation. And the buyer offered them for 120k when the Honda dealer said it will only cost 90k if it is sold 2nd hand. So what a great deal right, extra 30k. It's so sad to let it go thou.

This gorgeous X6 belongs to one of our Brunei Client and even better belongs to some young couple. My Boss was so busybody la, went to the client & ask how much did they pay for their X6 & it turn out to be B$ 160K!! Better looking than my boss X5 as well...haha

Nice right...but I can only see not drive.

Sorry, I know it's kinda late thou. =p

Anyway, during the Lent season, had been going to church so frequently that I thought I should take some photos for my blog. There might be some missing scene so do forgive me. Am pretty disappointment with myself at one point, that I didn't make the effort to attend the starting of Lent Season which is Ash Wednesday. Mum was not happy with me!! For those who knows my mum, then you get what I mean.

Mum is one of the most important people in the church community. From taking care of the Altar Server, annual meeting with the clergy, church wedding and so. She do almost everything. Cannot stand see her do so many things. But of cos I understand and support her for whatever she do for the Church.

Another friend of mine is getting married in June.. so happy for her. I'll be one of her "chi mui" (sista) on her wedding day. Haha...She's back from Singapore, for couple of days and so we went over her place to discuss about her big day and of cos browsing through her wedding photos taken in JB.

It was great to see some of my friends stepping into next stage of life. Time passes by so quickly, everyone is getting old now. During this gathering, there's so many stories about other friends but only one shocked me. The one that divorced with her husband, if not mistaken only after married for 11 months. She even announces it in the Chinese Newspaper, that they are no longer in relationship. OMG... So pity her. Her husband abused her and asked her go to work and support him..what a jerk! Put a shame on guys only.

Anyway, Irene is back from Russia for good and waiting for posting and Janet is back from Canada for 6 wks holiday...WOW...both future DR. So happy to see them both. Janet bought us cake for this gathering. How thoughtful of her!

Janet & I were talking about my trip to Canada last Dec. Had a great laugh at ourselves. LOL. We were suppose to meet up at Calgary but guess what. We were just to obsessed with the wonders of Internet, that we forget about exchanging phone numbers. Sux!! The hotel that I stayed in Calgary didn't have wireless connection, WTF, therefore no FB-ing..darn!!! So yea we missed the great chances.

So as I mentioned that I baked 2 cake on my birthday. Here's pic of yours truly yummylicious cake. The family love it ....a pretty common cake that I usually bake during CNY. Aunt Gertrude love it a lot and since she requested for it therefore I bake it for yesterday family dinner. Fr John loves the cheesecake too. Hehe

Hrmm...one day goes by just like that. Oh well, what can I do..yesterday was a history. Nothing happening though. Anyway, thanks for all the birthday wish everyone. I didn't go out on my birthday, just stays at home and bake 2 cakes & oreo truffle for an occasion on the very next day. And lately, I have to admit that am just too lazy to blog.

My godsis, Stephanie gave me something so lovely yesterday morning in Church . Really love the light smell of it. Thanks Steph!! I brought it to my office so that I can spray it when I need it.

Family bought me an strawberry ice-cream cake...hehe... and I absolutely adore those long wavy candles that I bought from Canada. Hehe. It's only CND1 for a box of 24pcs. I should have bought back more. Darn it!!

Can’t believe how quickly time passes sometimes.
In few more days, I'll be another year older again. Darn!!

Some of my friends are going away for their vacation on my birthday, so they celebrated my birthday early. Nothing special, just dinner at a fancy bistro. I wanted to have a birthday party but don't think mum will gonna like it though, this is due to the passing of my cousin. So just simple dinner with 2 different group of friends.

很不开心喔！

So many sad things happened in just a sudden in my family. My cousin passed away yesterday and it was sad to see him go just like that.

Coming from a big family of 6 girls 6 boys, he’s the 6th child from 12 siblings and 2nd eldest son. Sebastian is only 13 years old and a good altar server. Bishop never failed to visit him when he was in the hospital. He attended Form 1 for only 1 day, and now will never get to enjoy his teenager life.

Doctor can’t seem to explain what exactly the sickness is he facing. At disappointed time, the doctor said it might be leukemia. Then at 2nd thought it might be not enough white blood cells and bone narrow. My uncle didn’t manage to come back to see his son when he’s alive. He will only be back in Miri from oversea tomorrow.

Why in such a sudden, I lost 2 close family members in just 1 1/2 month. Sob =( They are in a better much peaceful place now. May they rest in peace.

Happy Belated Chinese New Year everyone. I know it's kinda late!! Anyway, My Chinese New Year was so moody. Everything seems so dead and not happening anymore. Raining almost everyday make it even worst. Everyone around me agree with that too. =( Hope you all had a great one though.

Can't believe myself for not updating for weeks now. While I was in Canada, I never failed once to blog except during my stay in Vancouver. Cos Q Poh's house doesn't have internet connection. Oh well, I really miss the weather, the snow, the shopping & the family there.

My Uncle called me on the first day of CNY morning, asking whether I have decided to move to Edmonton soon. Since he's offering to be my sponsorship and looks like dad is trying to give away his own daughter away. I told him will let him know once I'm ready for it. Probably next year after sis done with her high school. Good news that University of Alberta offers medicine course, so sis can come along with me. Good idea, eh!! And get ourselves a PR after 2 yrs staying...woohhoo... =p Good planning but will see how it goes. I just can't predict the future. Darn!

☆ Vancouver momento ☆

Here's my long overdue post on Vancouver, 6 days in Vancouver was great too but still I prefer Edmonton. Not gonna talk about what I do everyday during my stay there, just some nice photos to show. Limited time to blog, back to work always make me busy all the time. And dad don't plan to celebrate CNY this year so no open house this year. So not nice!

Alright, I went to Vancouver on New Year 2009 after staying in Edmonton for almost 3 weeks. Finally get to meet my childhood friends. Happy! Vancouver is a beautiful city. The city is surrounded by the mountains. Wow...another delicious mountains view.

Even the house I'm staying in Burnaby,Vancouver has its own mountains view. Awww...so breathtaking! Q Poh's house is also very big with 6 bedrooms. But she stay alone, that's why she loves people going over her house to stay. Coming to 75 yrs old now and still a very strong woman. Salute her!

Vancouver doesn't usually snow in Winter but last year Christmas, Vancouver had snowstorm and it kept snowing and raining. Snow were slushy in Vancouver!! And dangerous to drive on this kind snow as it is slippery. I prefer Edmonton snow though cos it's so sand-like and dry. Cars were covered with snow. It's not easy to get out.

During my 2nd day in Vancouver, Uncle Edmund didn't want to drive due to the bad weather so we took bus, train and seabus. It was one good experience though. We ride the seabus that brings us to North Vancouver. This seabus were filled with snow skateboarders cos when you reach North Vancouver, there's shuttle buses that brings them to Skyride cable car and up to Grouse mountain.

But of cos, we didn't go that far. We only visited Lonsdale Quay Public Market and took a look at the great view of Vancouver Downtown where we came from earlier on.

Went back to where we came from after spending at least only 30 min in North Vancouver. Here's 2 view of North Vancouver from Vancouver Downtown.

We went to one of the tourist attraction street in Gastown and had a look at the world's first steam-powdered clock.

Then to Vancouver Chinatown, the 2nd largest Chinatown in North America. We had Hong Kong Food for lunch. LOL.

After lunch, we head to Telus World of Science

We had Sushi for dinner. Haha...It's so dirt cheap in Vancouver. Sashimi were great cos it was served in thick cut. Yummy!

We didn't go out the 3rd day cos it was snowing and raining heavily. Dad even helped Q Poh to shoveled the snow. Haha...he loves it . And then he said next time when I migrate to Edmonton, he'll help me to shovel the snow during winter. LOL

The 4rd day, we went for Hong Kong Dim Sum at Pink Pearl. Here's a not so good quality photo of me and my childhood friends. The Chong's Sista, Marilyn, Melissa & Melanie. Not so clear as it was taken from the card Aunt Jennifer made for me before I leave Vancouver. I'm sure some of you remember the girls. We used to go to the same sunday school and church in Lutong. Maybe just Melanie, cos she's one year older than me. The other two is few years younger than me. Melanie is in State and studies medicine. The other two is in UBC, Vancouver. Check your old photos now see if you know them.

After breakfast in Pink Pearl, Uncle Edmund drove us around North Vancouver. He wanted to bring us to the Salmon Fish Factory but the road was not so good. So we give up. Instead we went to Skyride Cable car station and had a while look at Grouse Mountain from the bottom. And it was snowing heavily up there.

Then next we went to Stanley Park. No, we didn't get to visit Aquarium which I actually dying to go and see the beluga whales and dolphin. Cos of limited time, so ya!! Sob =( Next time during summer then!! Visited the native indian totem poles display and Coal harbour.

We went to Robson Street too, a popular shopping street in downtown Vancouver before we head home for dinner. Definitely no shopping in Vancouver, tax is 17%..a lot la!!! Edmonton is only 5%. Hrmm...luckily I did lotsa shopping in Edmonton. Haha

Last day in Vancouver, went out again. Went for a little shopping for bro's cap and a Vancouver shirt for myself. LOL. Had Vietnamese cuisine for dinner before heading for the airport.

Feel so sad to leave. Went for a little shopping in airport without dad's knowing. If not, he'll lecture me for spending too much. Waited in the aiport for a few hours, flight at 1245am the next day sure make me wanna to sleep in the plane only.

I slept throughout the 13 hrs flight to Taipei. Haha.

☆ Goodbye Edmonton ☆

Back home now!! And of cos back to work!! First day of work is sure tiring man. I thought I can relax, who knows senior gave me piles of work to do. And clients came one by one & kept looking for me. Darn! Today is sure making me misses everyone and everything in Canada. Sob =(

Well, I'm not done with Canada post yet. But before I continue my post on Canada. I would like to say thank you for everyone prayers on behalf of Linus. Aunt Judy passed away on the 6th January 2009. May you rest in peace, Aunt Judy. You will be remembered and loved forever.

It's my last 2 days in Edmonton. So don't feel like leaving there, I in love with Canada already!!! Ahh... And yes, I'm making plan to move on, and Edmonton it is. Dad even gave me green light!! LOL. Give me another 1 1/2 yrs then I'll be back in Alberta again. Next year summer will definitely be great I hope!! Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

Okie, the 2nd last day in Edmonton, my cousins brought me to Moxie's where they kept saying that it served the best brownies.

No idea what's this though. Just eat and delicious of cos..hehe

Josiah supposed to fetch me to Dollarama to get some luggage strap but it closed at 3pm due to New Year eve so we head to Starbucks nearby instead since Pamelina is working on that day

And she gave josiah & me free drink...my peppermint white chocolate mocha twist!! Hehe

Evening came ...winter daylight is just so short. Sigh! We had New Year Eve family gathering that night. Cousin Josh drove one of his company limo home...wow!! I didn't get to sit inside though. =( My cousin fetch the celebrities that having concert in Edmonton Downtown. He always get to meet celebrities...ah..not fair!! Too bad, I don't get to sit in that Limo. And his jaguar too, that he hide it in his car garage! Darn! He don't want to drive it out when it's winter.

Oh well, before dinner, I packed my luggage to get ready, jetting off to Vancouver the next day. Too many things to bring, everyone kept giving me stuff and food. LOL. While I was busy, Kassidy played with my cam. Little camwhore in the washroom!!

And while me and Isabel were having heart to heart talks, the cousins were all scattered around the basement.Watching hockey game on the big screen tv. They are so into hockey!! Having lotsa fun there...distracted me and Isa to talk. Darn!! Talking to Isabel is so great since we didn't see each other for a long time now. Like maybe 10+ yrs

And so the last day in Edmonton. So sad nye!! Dont want to leave. Sigh! My cousins decided to bring me for Marble Slab ice-cream before I leave for the airport. But sadly it only open at 1pm. And my flight is at 245pm. sob =(

Had been really busy last few days with shopping, lunch, dinner & family gathering. And also baby sitting my niece, Kass since everyone started work after Christmas. On Monday, Josiah took off and brought us to West Edmonton Mall again, we went to stuffed the turtle which Isabel got it for my sista. Here's a photo that Josiah helped to capture while I went shopping at Forever 21. Haha. Cos it takes some times to wait for your turn to stuffed the animal though. Very long queue.

We were in West Edmonton Mall for approximately 5 hours but 5 hours is not enough for you to go shopping in there though. We took lotsa of photos too. Here's Kass posing with the delicious Rockie Chocolates.

Then Josiah made reservation at Earls for lunch and we have to wait for at least 45 min. At first, we can't decide where to have lunch, there's Moxie or Hooters in mind too. Hooters can be great too cos it famous with the big boobs waitress. LOL. And Moxie is famous with their brownies. Yummy!!

After lunch, we went shopping again. Kass came with me, I think she's tired when we went shopping together cos I walked to every store. My dad & Josiah went to Casino...haha.. It's the first time, dad entered a Casino. Aunt Lillian went shopping alone. We went to Isabel's Condo for dinner after shopping. We had fish & chips from Joey's. I felt overloaded and overweight now from all the food. Haha.

On Tuesday, we went to my uncle's shop. Cos dad's friends gonna fetch us out for lunch. Hanging around and went online while waiting for dad's friends.

We went to their lovely house. Nice home with pool table at the basement. LOL

Then we went to Spectrum. A gambling place, where there's a casino and horse racing

And lotsa slots machine..hehe

Night time, we had dinner at Nathan's house. A farewell dinner for us. We had our starter first.

So continue from the last post, 2nd day in Calgary was great cos it was snowing heavily in the morning... I mean medium snow at -6 and windchilled at -12 which is lovely.

We had breakfast Tang Dynasty Restaurant, a Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant if I'm not mistaken. Yummylicious dim sum!!

Then after breakfast, we head Calgary Tower..wow...it was a great one.

☆ Delicious Breathtaking Momento ☆

Awesome trip to Calgary and visiting Banff & Lake Louise were breathtaking. Just got back this evening, and now I missed Banff & Lake Louise so much. But sadly I didn't get to ski, ahh.. if my cousins came along, think there's even more fun than this. Yea, all my cousins have to work, except Josh who went Calgary as well but not to Banff cos he had bowling competition. So yea! My plan of skiing totally crashed!! I'll make another trip back to Canada again next year. Haha. Or even make plans to migrate here, I'm serious. My dad actually wanted to migrate to Canada when I was only 10 but don't know why suddenly he changed his mind. Hrmm...I'm in love with Canada. I'm not even homesick yet and don't feel like going back. Haha. But dad is homesick already, lol...He doesn't like the weather here but I find the weather here quite good eventhough it's really dry. He's counting the days to go home. Yet, we still can't go home cos we will be flying to Vancouver next month and stays there for few days.

Anyway, we reached Calgary after 3 hours drive from Edmonton, then from Calgary, Uncle have to drive another 2 hours to Lake Louise. On the 2 hours drive to Lake Louise, it was breathtaking. Mountains everywhere, so beautiful!! Here's the photo of Calgary city from far, not really a nice shoot though. Calgary weather was so nice, it was +1...haha

Then next we went to Banff which is another hour drive back to Calgary road. Banff is another delicious view of mountains. The little town of Banff is surrounded by all the beautiful mountains. It took my breath away.

Then we drove up the hill of Banff which is 5 min drive from downtown Banff. Where there's Banff Gondola and the Banff Skywalk at Sulphur. And of cos we went up and took lotsa photos. It was so cold and ice snowing. LOL..the ice snow hit my face. Darn! But luckily it's was the tiny kind. On top, you can actually see lotsa wildlife like Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels, Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Clark's Nutcracker and Canada Jays. But I didn't see anything though cos it's winter. When it's summer then you can see all of these wildlife. Sitting in the Banff Gondola was fun but for some people it might be scary cos it's going up the mountain. At 7,486 feet above sea level and the ride takes approximately 8 min. It was a good ride for me though!!

And here's the 6- wheeled, a giant all-terrain vehicle, the Brewster Ice Explorer ride, where it takes you to Columbia Icefield. The living remnant of the Ice Age, when woolly mammoths and sabre-tooth tigers roamed the continent. The ice is up to 365 metres or 1200 feet thick. Oh yea, nice right!! But it's not available for winter time. Darn!! My aunt asked me to go back to Canada during the summer time. LOL.

And after the Gondola ride, we went to Banff Upper Hot Springs where it is just situated besides the Gondola ride building.

It's kinda late now eventhough it's only 4pm. But anyway, we head back to Calgary and its time to bid farwell to Banff. I love this place. Ahh..

Back to Calgary and we had our dinner at one of the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant in the city. My 2nd Chinese Cuisine in Canada. Haha. I noticed Calgary got lotsa Hong Kong people here.

After dinner, we went to our hotel and checked-in. Josh booked the hotel rooms for us and he even settled the bill for 3 rooms before we checked-in. One for himself of cos. How thankful! Oh, you don't look down on this Inn, it's so much better than any high class hotel. Don't judge by it's name like I did. LOL. One room is at least around USD$130. Shocked!

Not bad right! Will continue the next day in Calgary post tomorrow after my shopping in West Edmonton Mall again...haha...so happy la..But I scare I'll shop too much..got lotsa stuffs to bring back home. Oh man!!

☆ Boxing Day ☆

Had A&W breakfast on Boxing Day...lol...oh well, boxing day seriously was a little crazy here. I went after breakfast with Josh and my dad tag along too. Wanted to get a Nintendo DS for my aunt's nephew in Brunei. But it was sold out. Hahaha...So fast. While Josh wanna get some Blu Ray Movie DVD...but there's nothing he like then. After that, we went to Wal Mart to do some window shopping, manage to get some Canadian Cap for some of the priest in Miri. Yea, they want me to buy it for them, and some more red colour one with the letter of Canada infront.

When I'm done with shopping, it's dad turns to shop. We went to a few Liquor shop...haha... yea, dad's a liquor collecter. So lovin it here. So many nice one and price is slightly ok.

And here's some of the miniature liquor he bought. It's cheap but everything comes with tax here in. We can't buy too many cos I got at least more than 20kg of Canadian food for me to bring back. Hopefully it won't overload.

This is my quick post, cos I'm leaving to Calgary in 1 hour time and I'm kinda sleepy now as well. It's only 5am here. Darn!! Gonna sleep in the car since it's a 5 hour drive.

It's boxing day today..it's shopping time...for those who are going, be sure to take care of yourself from people pushing here and there...haha..Josiah going for boxing day sale though since he wanna get himself a GPS. Not sure if the other family is going for shopping or not later. Cos Aunt Grace & Aunt Audrey are going back to England later in the afternoon flight. So we need to send them off to the airport. Hopefully they won't get stranded too.

Oh well, yesterday Kass went over to my room and wake me up to make snow man. The morning weather was really cold and windy, I couldn't stand it. So half way making it...we both gave up, too cold for us. And it was so difficult to build one cos the snow wasn't sticky enough. Putting water didn't help that much either.

Well, as I mentioned at my last post, the cousins are going to tabogganing on Christmas day. And yea, I just watched them play...darn!! It was so fun seeing them enjoying it. We went somewhere else today, at some park which I forget to ask what's the name of it. Weather was really freezing cold and wind chill eventhough it's only -14...everyone went blushing on the face. But you know all this cousins, they get use to it so they just play for like 1 hour.

In the evening time, we had steamboat dinner with just few of the family. And the Christmas Tree got more presents coming during the evening time. We opened it after dinner. Happy moment even among the adults too.

Even Entou got present too, Josh is trying to trick him with the new Christmas toy while Josiah just watch them playing.

Then we had some other cousins coming over for hang out session. Pam brought some liquor over while we only offered Sparkling Apple Juice. And lotsa Chocolate food on the table...Oh man..ever since I enter Edmonton, there's Chocolate everywhere at the house. And of cos I have been eating them for almost 2 weeks now. Therefore, my face is so round now. Ahhh...

Blessed Christmas everyone!!! It's Christmas today.....had a great Christmas this year ...everyone were having lotsa fun and eat lotsa food during Christmas Eve dinner hours ago at one of the extended family house...hahaha...and later 11am, I'm going tabogganing with whole lotsa of cousins...while the adults goes to Church. LOL. But I'm just gonna watch them play cos my monthly aunty visit me just suddenly. Darn! I told Josh, it's inconvenience for me to play, so he said just watch them play and enjoy eating ice-cream sandwich made by him... darn...why are you torturing me!! Want me to have tummy cramp!! Then he said he'll make hot chocolate and make me sit at the fireplace at his place after tabogganing. Just make me feel better a little bit. He's still a great cousin after all..haha

Alright then, I need to make this a quick post cos need to wake up early and make snowman with Kass...Yea, we haven't make our snowman yet. So here's some photos...enjoy!!

This is one funny part, where every year Josiah exchange present with Kimberly..Josiah always make lotsa fun with Kim..and this year he gave her something funnier... a giraffe with a plastic human balloon with Kim's bf, Kevin face on it, and holding a knife...how hilarious. Everyone have to proceed to the balcony cos it was placed outside and frozen...haha. Not forgetting Kim's bf was there too...

Yet another day just past like that...everyone here seems so worried about jetting back home ever since Vancouver airport closed down due to the bad snow storm. Vancouver weather is always warmer than other parts of Canada...it goes about -2 only. But well, this year Vancouver is down with heavy snow storm. Even same thing goes to Las Vegas, it's snowing this year. One of the family member couldn't fly back to Edmonton from Las Vegas cos it starts to snow the other day.

The aunties from England are worried about their flight might have to cancel as well. Cos both of them going back to England this week. Even my cousin's cousin can only fly back to Brunei next year 18th Jan where she was suppose to fly back yesterday. Oh goodness...after hearing about all the bad news, am more worried now. Wanna to go back on time!! Got lotsa work to do back in office oo..

Anyway, had my first dine out chinese breakfast today. Not bad but dim sum only served at 11am, so late kah?? There's lotsa dim sum which I never hear or see before. Forgotten some of the name, so just photos la. Love their egg tarts so much..yummy...it's soft and it really melt in your mouth. Some of the dim sum I didn't manage to capture cos everyone seems to be really hungry, so yea just a few.

After breakfast, we head to West Edmonton Mall which is just near by. As you can see, in the photo, there's a guy wearing a wear jacket standing at the sideway. He's actually dancing and singing for all of us to see. Not just today...you can see him everyday repeating the same thing. Uncle told us that he has a job and even the TV station came to interview him to ask some stuff from him....Aunt Lilian even joke around saying that no one is gonna listen to him singing cos all the cars passes by makes so much noise and it polluted the area. So we can only watch him dance but not hear him singing. LOL...true enough!!

No shopping for clothes today cos still busy with some missing Christmas present list. Aunt asked me not to shop today cos I can buy more cheaper stuff ...I mean really low price on Boxing's day which after Christmas on the 26th. But Boxing's day gonna be really pack..and I don't wanna be in that kind of situation. People even camp outside the mall just to go for Boxing's Day Sales..Nut case!! I'm not desperate. My cousin, Josiah did this once though. Hahaha...so desperate meh. So I decided to shop after Boxing's day. Things will be cheap too after Christmas ..cos it's consider clearance sales...hehe...I think my luggage gonna be overload la...die la. Forever 21 & Aldo...here I come.

We went Chinatown supermarket to do some groceries shopping today. Yea, there's Chinatown in the big Mall. Bought some Christmas cookies to give to some of the family here in Edmonton. I mean a lot...cos my uncle's wife family are mostly in Edmonton...like 80% of her family migrated to Edmonton. And so I need to buy some stuff for each family too. Like at least 8 family. Oh my!! Went back to Galaxyland Amusement Park again today just to capture the carousel. Love carousel a lot...

Also received an early Christmas present from one of the extended family. This Aunty sure spoilt me...didn't want it cos it's so kiddie..haha.. She brought me to a shop which is called Build-A-Bear Workshop!! Haha...first I got to chose which unfilled animal I want from the rack. Then queue up for stuffed the cotton area. The staff will help you to fill in the cotton. I skipped one area actually were you can put sound inside the bear like " I Love You" and they can talk from what sentence you choose from the rack of cos. No talking bear for me!! It's creepy!! Then after filling up the bear with cotton, you have to pick a heart from the bottle, do some cute action directed by the staff...like rub the heart on you nose, your cheeks, your heart and so so. Then make a wish using the heart. When you're done, put the heart into the bear together with a tear-off identifying code in the bear. After that, the staff will tighten up it then it's done with the process.

Well, that's not all. You need to take the bear for a shower!!! Yea, that is what I mean...Kids will be laughing at me...haha. Actually bring the bear to a machine that blows air down onto your bear so that you can fluff up it's fur. Next, picking up clothes for your bear. I don't like this part cos there's so many nice clothes and shoes there. Besides all these, there's also cars, cabinet, chairs and so so of stuff for this stuffed bears you know...like playing barbie dolls. Haha.

Oh..not done yet. Proceed to the computer, to do your new bear birth certificate. It's like register your bear. Remember the tear-off identifying code I put into the bear, it's actually like a identifying device. In case you lost your teddy and someone open it up and take the tag and have the bear traced back directly to you.

Then of cos you pay for it. It cost around CDN$50 and also got your new bear birth ceritficate printed for you. Oh well, took some photos..check it out!

☆ Christmas Shopping!! ☆

Went groceries shopping today... weather was like -23, ya really cold. Lazy to go out actually cos of the coldness but luckily the cold weather in canada doesn't bite you and gets into your bone like how Europe country does. It's painless here, you just feel the nice cold weather but freezing of cos. And of cos, pity my skin on my face. Besides getting fatter by all the luxurious food fed by the family here.. I also find myself in dryness on my skins too. Moisturizer didn't help that much also. Wasted buying good skin care products. Darn!!

Oh well, it's shopping time though and I need to get some pressies for Kass. Wanted to get a big Disney snowglobe for her which I saw it in West Edmonton Mall around CND$100. But Aunt asked me not to buy toys for her. Cos she has a lot where you can actually find half of her toys are still new and unopen. So I bought her a dress instead and some girly DIY stuff.

And bought another pressie, a set of 10 DVD for only CDN$30.. original ok ..erm can't remember what's the name of the that cartoon, those train cartoons can talk one, yea that for Baby Zech, who is 14 months old, to bring over to the Family exchange Christmas presents time this Christmas. I was informed last minute about exchanging present. Cos my cousin's cousin with her husband & son were suppose to go back to Brunei today but because of the snow storm, they can only go back to Brunei in Jan. Hahaha...now I'm worried. Yes, I am!!! Even my cousin, Isabel didn't want to wait for her reschedule fight, so Isabel & Joel drove to Seattle instead. Like 6 hours drive.

Anyway, loves groceries shopping in Costco here in Edmonton cos everything is in big portion. Costco is a warehouse but not everyone can enter unless you're a member. When you enter, you have to show them the membership card and before you leave the main entrance, you have to show the receipt of the things you buy and let them check what's in your cart first then you can leave. A really strict shopping centre.

Today shopping was crazy cos of Christmas. Everyone were rushing for last minute Christmas shopping and there were very long queue too. We managed to get lotsa stuff which cost us around CDN$300+. Yea, a lof of goodies. Haha...going shopping again tomorrow. Going to West Edmonton Mall..so happy. Gonna do some early Chinese New Year shopping in Forever 21 & Aldo..and maybe some other outlet...so happy la. But guess dad won't be happy with me though..hahaha..you just know why. And to my dearest sista, I bought something for you too...no worries...I know you read my blog la. Hahaha

It's sunday!! And so nothing much goes on today...went to church and in chinese service some more...oh goodness and not a Catholic Church so I almost fall asleep during their service. Haha.. Big differences, eh!!

It's really cold today...-33. I didn't join the family & dad for their church dinner gathering at one member's house cos wasn't feeling well. Aunty Lilian, my cousin in law's mum..she stayed at home too cos I think she don't feel like joining them. So both of us chit chatting, laughing around and went online in the living room and add each other up on facebook..oh yea..she's on facebook too. Cool hah!!

Then suddenly Isabel & Joel came home..where they are suppose to be in Seattle already. Oh yea, airport closed down due to the snow storm so they might leave for Seattle tomorrow. Many flight have been delayed or cancelled cos of the bad weather. Hopefully my flight will be on time, or else I wont be getting back to work on time.

Josiah brought them back from the airport and he brought Entou too. I like Entou so much cos he listened to you...Josiah taught him many things like sit, stand, shake, roll over and stay. Smart dog!! I'm gonna train my Winwin too.

Oh well, let's see. Josiah brought me and Aunt Lilian for dinner cos he asked if we had our dinner. Master not around so there's no food for us...haha. He bought us to Tim Hortons..the truly canadian cafe.

I had Chicken Toasted Club..the sandwich is really nice which comes with donuts & drink..I drank pepsi...haha.. That Hot English Toffee is really nice.. not mine though, I only took a little bit from Josiah. And Josiah's Yogurt berries too. No photo of the double chocolate donuts though cos I forget to take a photo of it.

And we had Chili with garlic bread....yummy..

Aunt Lilian asked me to take the photo of the square donuts cos she never seen one. It's called the Dutchie and it's popular and also the original Tim Hortons Creation.

Thanks Josiah for the light dinner. Oh ya, in case you don't know, that Tim Hortons merged with Wendy's...We got Wendy's in KL, eh!! Tim Hortons not only in Canada but in the US too. Josiah asked me to open one in Malaysia..Darn!!

It's Isabel's big day, 20/12/08..and Entou have to be there too...cos he's suppose to be the one bringing the rings to the altar at the church but at last they decided not too. Isn't he cute? Josiah bought that tux from Ebay just for the wedding.

Was curious about something this morning. So I decided to ask Josh what's that ..obviously it was the sun but he add on the rounded Rainbow, eh! Oooo.....sakai bah, never know rainbow can be that way. Josiah knows that I wanna see the Northern Lights so much..that he actually said something to make me envy him. "I seen it so many times!!" Excuse me cousin, you were born in Canada and had been staying for 26 years, of cos you get to see them. I hate you!! Haha...

Josh brought us out today...and we went to Edmonton Downtown...it's beautiful!!

Main purpose of going out today was going window shopping at West Edmonton Mall...one of the world biggest shopping mall...and seriously it was really that big...so tiring la!! And yea, I went to Forever 21...haha..it was so dirt cheap!! Darn it!! And Aldo too..I'm going back there again next week with Josiah for shopping this time..haha. Josh bought lotsa of WebKinz for Kass as Christmas Present and a necklace from Swarovski.

I only bought luggage belts cos the day I arrive Edmonton, I found out that 3 of the luggage was force open and they broke my zipper and locks. Donno which bastards did it?!!! Damn angry. I won't get angry if they were doing the inspection in our luggage and left us a note and notifies us about it. But in my case, there's nothing...not even a note. Bloody hell!!

According to the rules and regulations, when they do the inspection, they will always leave a note in our luggage. I'm gonna make a complain and claim for insurance. I think is the Malaysia airport did it...no manners!! Cos our luggages were left in the cargo for 7 hours while we were transitting in KLIA. They even open up every single empty angpau paper and tore off the Christmas Cards...WTF..guess they were trying to steal. Luckily dad took all the Pounds, US, Australia, Brunei, Canadian dollars out...and yea we were carrying other currencies too. Big amount there you know. Such bastards!!

Ok, lazy to talk about West Edmonton Mall...you can check it out in the internet about it. This is the World Waterpark...people still goes swimming in the inside eventhough its cold

West Edmonton Mall is like Time Square KL but this is few times bigger than KL one. Even the shopping is good here cos some of the branded stuff is so dirt cheap...darn. There's Casino in here too and its own Chinatown area...so nice..how I wish this is in Miri yea...lol

And check out their bowling Alley. Was there for a few min then suddenly switch out the light and it became a club bowling alley. Cool hah. There's a disco ball right there..hehe

Oh well, had enough of the Mall at the mean time...walking inside the mall for like 3 hours +, am sure tired. Walking to the car is another crazy thing, it was kinda far and the weather was like around -26..yea....very very cold. Die hard man. In the morning was fine cos it was sunny but when it's gets dark around 4pm..it was freezing cold here. Damn!

We didn't head home instead we went to the church, to watch the rehearsal for Isabel's wedding tomorrow. I'm gonna wear dress tomorrow!! Ah!! During winter..??!! Oh man...it's gonna be -30 tomorrow.

Didn't ski today, instead we went tobogganing, eh? At the golf club where Uncle Joe plays golf. Went with my cousin's cousin and my dad...baby Zech went too...he had lotsa fun at first but after a few slides...he started to cry..too cold for him though. It was around -20 today and our faces went blushing after being outdoor for half an hour. So we decided to head home, luckily home is just 5 min drives back..haha..we can go everyday. It's awesome!!

That's me and my dad...oh goodness!! It was lotsa fun sliding down but climbing back up was so tiring. We were all exhausted. Went only 3 times then I surrender, tired already...haha

Cos her mum is busy with her wedding thingy in church and so we have been watching Barbie's movie whole afternoon. Kass is so cute, everyday when she comes home after school, she'll go over my room and say Hi to me and ask me if I wanna play with her. And today, she asked me to make snowman with her after her mum's wedding. Cos her mum will be away for Seattle for Honeymoon, I guess and so ya, babysitting her, eh? Some family is coming from London tomorrow, so it's getting busier now. Wedding will be this Sat, and of cos there will be Chinese Tea ceremony too. I'm getting angpau..hahaha

Didn't go out today except going out for dinner, cos the weather...was like -16, windy and light snowing whole day.. even now. Darn! Anyway, went to The Keg Steakhouse & Bar for dinner with the family. Dinner were awesome but it served in big portion. I couldn't even finish my food. Haha.. And it's kinda expensive too cos when the bill came, it was like around RM900. Oh well, Josh treats us dinner, so yea..why do I have to complain so much.

By the way, am going skiing with my cousin's cousin Pam & a few cousins tomorrow...hehe...never ski so might face some problem. But Pam said it will be her 2nd time so don't need to worry too much about it since I have a companion. Lol....and hopefully it won't be that cold tomorrow

Well, arrived in Edmonton transitting through Vancouver yesterday early morning around 130am...and it was freezing cold like -30....and no jetlag for me. Lucky for me though....cos I went to Uncle's house and slept again and woke up like 9am..Edmonton time. But my butt felt flat after sitting in 4 different plane for like 18 hours altogether. Darn...

First day in Edmonton, didn't do much at all. Basically stays at home and I drank lotsa hot chocolate cos Aunt kept making those for me to keep me warm. And during winter time, the day gets dark early when it's only 4pm. Hmm...short daylights.

Did went out for awhile to my guys cousin's place which is not quiet far from my uncle'a place. Basically young adults will be drinking beer while watching tv and play poker games...yea..poker...my cousin bought a set of poker in a stainless steel suitcase but the cards are from casino itself cos every single cards are hole-punched when it's taken out from the casino. No idea how to play poker though but cousins insist to bring me to casino since we're not going to Las Vegas any more. So yea, let's see the differences.

Well, today which is my 2nd day here, went shopping with aunt and we did shop quiet a few things to bring back. Pray hard it won't overload. Haha. I'm sux in remembering names...and so here's some photos

Then in the afternoon around 4pm, went dinner with the cousins, Josh & Josiah..Dinner at Hudsons. It's like Chilli's in KL but Hudson had more food and better enviroment.

3 types of mini burgers and 3 types chicken wings..yummy... it was cheap for them..but I convert it then it's more expensive than chilli's. Food for 3 of us!!??..I only ate each from 6 baskets...the rest the cousins finished it. They even order take away...they sure eat a lot.

After dinner, we went straight to the hockey game. Edmonton Oilers vs Chicago Blackhawks. Totally not a fan of hockey, I watch it just cos it a must thing to do in Canada and Josh bought it even before I arrived. So its wasted if I don't watch the game. Furthermore, never been to a live sport game before so why not yea.

And well, wore that Jersey to support Canada's team

It was fun...obviously there was a fight too...beating each other up but no photo though..haha

During the 2nd break, there's kinda musical chair games for the audience...lol...

And guess what, dissapointment all over the stadium cos canada team lose, 9-2. Ooopss.. Josh was saying it's my first and the worse game to watch...lol

How sad...and here's my cousins, Josh & Josiah..walking towards the car and it was snowing but luckily it's not that cold like yesterday. Josiah asked me to lay down on the snow and and make angel in the snow...cheh..not infront of thousand of strangers...silly you!! =p

Well, went to Brunei again last monday. Am always happy to travel to Brunei eventhough it's kinda tiring but seeing every single family sure cheer me up. Aunt Judy is still in SICU in bandar. She's happy to see us and I do hope she'll discharge from Hospital soon. Hopefully will get better each day. May God healing hands be upon her.

Can't believe that Christmas is around the corner and I'm definitely in a Christmas mood already!! And also received Christmas goodies from the thoughtful Brunei client again. Thank you so much!!

In just 7 days, I'm leaving on several jet planes to Canada for a month. Can't wait to visit the family there and go skiing at Banff & Jasper National Park. Had to admit, I'm excited but scare at the moment. Not sure what will happen in this 1 month when I'm not back at home.

Cuz seems scared, I watched his reaction, still suspicious that something was going on. I observed him and he knew that I always do. The flash in his eyes makes me wander more, but I do hope it's not the kind what I was expecting. A hug will make him a lil better I hope.

Went to Brunei this morning and I just arrived home around 9pm from Brunei. Tiring day but luckily I wasn't in the long queue at the immigration when heading back Miri. Cos there's a horrible jam for those heading back to Brunei during the evening time and all Bruneian were stuck from Miri immigration to Brunei immigration. Oh, pity them!! Will be going to Brunei again tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll reach home before 6 cos need to attend a good friend's birthday dinner. Or else he'll be mad with me. Hehe

And read another new book during my journey to Brunei today. And yes, reading in a car often triggers dizziness. But weird, I didn't feel dizzy at all and still managed to read 50 pages in 1 hour journey. Hrmm.. will continue to read again tomorrow...muahaha =p

Work...work...work...haiyo..cannot stand ah!! Seriously, my bosses think I'm a robot ah??!!! Keep asking me to do this and that non-stop. Darn! I was curious about that berry cos the fruit looks exactly like rambutan. And indeed it is. What la!! Why Tico Berry hah? Is it because it sounds cute?!! Hrmm

Have been eating rambutan everyday...cos right now it's the season of rambutan and durian. I don't really eat durian a lot cos I just dont like it. Just try not to consume too much or else you'll get sore throat. Hehe

Anyway, I baked something chocolatey again today..haha...lex, you know me la. No chocolate can die ah!! Haha... Something cliché to me cos I usually baked these cookies and it's still popular among my colleagues. Since they requests for it and so to make them happy, I baked at least 2 big jars of Peanut butter & chocolate cookies. 1 jars for them and another for my family of cos. I love baking!! Just a short post for today. Going to grandaunt's house for family dinner in an hour time. Yea, heavy dinner again like yesterday. I went for Texas-Mexican buffet at Dynasty Hotel with my friends and celebrated a friend's birthday with no cake. Long story, I don't wanna get myself in trouble again like last year for surprising her birthday dinner. I'm so disappointed with her. She was so overly mad with me and that she doesn't want to talk to me for days. Darn!! Yea, it's complicated!! =(

Anyway, my fav food of the day would be the Mini Apple Tart served hot with ice-cream!!

Yea, I'm still busy with tons of work but I do find some time to bake something for my family and colleagues. Hehe..And so 3 dozens of Maple with chocolate chunk muffins. Yummy!! Want some?? =p

As usual, busy with work these days. Piles of drawing need to be settle by this week. So damn tiring. Will be getting another drawing tomorrow. Darn!! Furthermore, the travel visa is making me really fed up right now. Banyak macam la. Go traveling also need to have so many document. Thought putting 20k for my Fixed D, everything gonna be fine. Who knows, need my family in Canada to submit some other documents. Another 43 days to go ler!! Not sure will I be getting my Visa soon. So angry!!

I must say that I had a tough week too. Sigh! Biggest obstacle was facing the stalker!! And ya, was force to attend a dinner without them understanding how I really feel. Felt the hate & pressure at one moment. But because the colleague of mine is like a big sister to me so I give her face just to show myself at the dinner. Luckily, there's many of us. So I don't need to talk at the dinner. Told them I have to attend my cousins birthday party that night but they insisted and that I can join them after the birthday party. WTF!! It's pretty obvious, I'm trying to avoid going to the dinner. Why do you have to force me until you guys have to come to my aunt's house and fetch me. Sigh!! Speechless!! At one point, Heidi is really boiling inside!!! I need this 3 weeks vacation so badly. Please approve my travel visa application ya!!

So, anyway celebrated my 4 cousins birthday last Friday. So I ate 8 different cakes for the month of October. Darn...that's a lot!!! Luckily my face doesnt look like cake!! Haha. My twin cousins, Eva & Ezekiel...Alvin...Gary birthdays!! My aunt bought cute cartoon cakes for them. Hehe.. At that moment, I really had a great time with the family. There's 3 cakes only, the twin cousins shared one cake mah..Hehe

As you know, my mum is back home. She came back last wednesday and I was so happy to see her. Hehe...You just have to imagine how much stuff she brought back. Bags of stuff like Rosaries, Holy water, Crucifix pendants, Jam, Hotel's products, Cheese and list goes on. Pengsan ah see her luggage full of those. The Brunei airport customs almost want to take away all Christian stuffs from my mum and other Pilgrimage travellers but luckily God hear their prayers.

My mum said she likes the London Heathrow airport customs cos they are so friendly. The customs even asked for some goodies like chocolates from my mum. They said they were hungry. LoL. So my mum gave them some. Mum said she didnt get to meet Aileen in Singapore Airline. Oh my goodness, I told her there's like 7000 cabin crew. Higher possibilities of getting into the same flight with her will be knowing her exact routine lah. Haiya!!

Streamyx connection had been really down lately. Sigh!! Finally I'm updating my blog today instead of yesterday. I wanted to wish my cousin Linus Happy Birthday yesterday here but luck wasn't on my side. Damn!! So anyway, Happy Birthday Linus!!! I didn't get to celebrate your birthday last Saturday. My bad!! Hope you're okay with it!! Will try to replace one day with that. Alright.

Oh yea, I was in Brunei last Saturday. Aunt had been transfered to another ICU. She's getting better these days, Linus!! I know you want to hear that from me!! I'm happy to see her getting healthier after 3 months. At least, she can talk and write again. Eventhough she's still under ventilation but she did show slight improvement and that I thank God for it. And thanks Sue!! I know you had been praying for her too but still, do continue to pray for her yea. Thanks everyone for their prayers too. I really appreciate it!!

Now, I didn't manage to make Tiramisu but I did bake some muffins. Hehe. When it comes to baking, I prefer to use chocolate chunk instead of chocolate chips in my baking. Just doesn't like the small bites of chocolate chips, that's all. I really have the passion to chop the chocolate bars into chocolate chunk. I know it's troublesome but I just loves my baking to be prefect. Fussy!! =p

Tadaa, 4 dozens!!!... of Chocolate Chunk muffins freshly baked from my mum's oven. 4 dozens is a lot, I know... so I brought 3 dozens to share with my colleagues today. Hehe...If you're my colleague, you'll be happily fed by me every week for free some more. Rugi la me!! Haha...today my colleagues are requesting for lasagna and chocolate bread pudding from me... See when I'm free la. No promise!! They even asked me to bake something this wednesday so that they could secretly share some of those food to the stalker. Hei, no way!! I ain't doing anything for you guys this week. Oh ya, my bad day is coming soon..again...Sigh!!

Mum is coming back...so happy..She's on the way to Singapore now from London. Can't wait to see her this Wednesday..miss her so much...even little Win Win misses her too.

Waking up early these few days is sure tiring!! Mum is away for her 2 weeks Pilgrimage Euro tour and so I have to do some chores around the house before I head for work every morning. Little Win Win is also sick the day mum left for Rome, so my little sis brought him to the Vet and he was down with diarrhea. Oh my, so pity. No wander he was rolling here and there in the cage. My sis had to force the medicines into his little mouth as he's kinda stubborn like me. LOL. Didn't know it was such a difficult task. I must say little Win Win is one really fierce puppy. He loves to bite us and that including my sista chihuahua, Kiki. Sigh!

Called mum this afternoon when she was on her way to Lourdes, France. And She told my sis that she bought me a bag in Italy..haha...so happy!! Can't wait for her to come back la...Everyone misses her!!

Oh well, I made Oreo truffles today! Happy me. Didn't do any baking for awhile now except the Blueberry Cheesecake I baked this month for a friend's birthday which I forgotten to take photo of. Gotta do Tiramisu next weekend if I'm not going to Brunei. My hands are really itching right now. Feels like baking this and that. Tiramisu is what I always do during my Uni and now I'm craving for it . Loves baking but not cooking!! I'm serious. But I do try my hands on cooking lately. If not, mum won't stop nagging!! Sigh!

One thing for sure, Italian Cuisine is what I always love. Lasagna and sheperd pie are cliché in my family. Mum makes them like every month and we just don't feel fed up eating those yummylicious food. I had never try to make it myself thou. Maybe I should when I'm free. Cos Lasagna takes some times to cook the meat, and arranging layer by layer. Most importantly, Lasagna should be meaty with 2 types of cheese not soggy!! Cos some restaurant served soggy lasagna and that sucks big time. Failure!! Bear in mind, I am one fussy eater. I eat food by it's colour as well. Just don't blame me if I don't eat your food, am just pretty fussy & stubborn with everything. Cheer!

I should stop talking about food now, it's making me hungry. Damn! So here's what I did today in less than 1 hour. Oreo truffles for my colleagues actually. It's something cliché. And no, I dont do all these just to bribe them. I always bake cookies or cakes for my colleagues with no evil motif at all. Obviously, I'm not that kind of person. Just loves to share things with other people, that's all. Excluding guys department la!!

Friends who knows me really well, will certainly agree with me. But somehow, when I think back... why am I always being too nice to my friends?? Some of your friends even talk bad behind you but till you treated them like nothing happen. I always do that, just don't know why can't I stop being way too nice to them. Not to say that I'm that perfect friend but it's true how the way I treats my friend no matter you're a 2 face person. I still treated them equally like friends who appreciates me.

Life is like tat, nothing much to comment about. Just face it, that's all. I'm sure I'm not the only one who have to overcome this kind of affair. So have a great sunday!! Buona Serata

Am a stamps collector so of cos I'm happy to receive the parcel with so many different stamps on one envelope. My dad even said that many people were asking for the envelope of stamps for themselves. Haha..

Even backside of the envelope was pasted with stamps too. It's the Year of Mouse Stamps from Canada. Gorgeous pieces!! Every year, my cousins will never fail to post CNY & Xmas cards to me with those Chinese Horoscope Animal Stamps. Their collection is always the best.

Today marked the 730th days of me, working in the same company!! 2 years!! Wow...time passes way too quickly!! It just seems like yesterday. I wander how loyal am I gonna be towards my company now. Fed up with fried food already and so we go for healthy food instead

Bloated with food right now and think I'm gaining weigh again. Darn!!

And because Little China owned by my friend's bro,
we got 25% discount for our bill. Hehe

A Shih Tzu named Win Win, name was given by the Filipino aunt who gave us the adorable puppy but the little one yet so naughty cos it loves to bite me. Darn!
So two dogs now..Chihuahua, Kiki & Shih Tzu, Win Win!!

Celebrated a friend's birthday yesterday in Citrus, I believe most of the Mirian goes there for their Chocolate Fondue and of cos their yummylicious food & desserts. I must say it somehow looks like Elly's Table, the little English cafe where I use to work as a part-time barista during my Uni. Elly's Table no longer exist cos my ex-bosses change their name, a hint for ya...something to do with pancakes!!? There's a few branch right now in Malaysia. So go try their yummylicious pancakes!! You will sure go back for more!!

Ok now, where was I??! ...oh ya even the glass panel on the wall looks so similar and the the serviette around the coffee glass. The fresh apple green painted wall as well. Hehe. Now how I missed working with everyone in Elly Table's...the smell of the pancakes and brewed coffee =p...even though I don't drink coffee. Haha. And of cos seeing the regular customer that comes and dine, specially the Model who often come and ordered Long Black...duh..it's coffee and her fav plain pancakes with maple syrup. Yummy...She spoilt me by giving tips all the time. Haha..Now I have to stop talking about it!!

Citrus is one great place to hang out. I must say 10/10 for their good service. The staffs are really well mannered and helpful. Food came really quickly, as there was like 14 of us, so I thought we might need to wait for the food. But it turned out really great and fast.

Was there first with another friend and I have to ask the staffs there to arrange tables for 14 as we didn't make any reservation earlier on. But they did their best to make those seats for us. Happy!! They even have to ask some people to move somewhere else. So Lucky table Number 9!!

Hrrmm...had been really busy lately...moving to the next step right now cos am taking over senior's place since she'll be away for half year due to her chemo treatment. So meaning, extra works for me. Sigh. And I was also given a huge task by a priest to do some renovation for the Father's house. Hrmm...gonna do this for free thou, I mean the 3d drawing of cos. I can't wait to draw the prayer room for the priests.

Anyway, I didnt join my family to Brunei today cos was busy with some work. But I went for my cousin's children birthday party in the evening. It's good to see my aunt again, she just got back from London with her husband & daughter after visting her son for half year. And she bought some goodies back for us of cos. Hehe... I just love receiving gifts!! And Aunt Gertrude said that cousin Andrew is coming back for Christmas this year from Scotland. I thought of introducing him to Ruby but wrong timing la cos I will be away. So Ruby, next time la!!

Well, get back to this evening moment. It was such a lovely evening, since cousin's house is besides the beach and so the cousins and I went to the beach to enjoy the breeze and we also brought Aunt Gertrude's two little shihtzu.

Cousin made cheesecake for her children's birthday...well decorated with colourful chocolate and candy just for the kids. Everyone had a wonderful day with all the laughter from the kids. Attended another friend's wedding reception today, nothing much to show...here's one of the dress I bought online. Hehe..Have to wear it with cardigan, cos mum said it's too sexy. =(

And oh ya, you must thinking that since when I start to wear dress!!?? Haha... Friends even joke about if I wear dress, then sure kena jackpot. Lol...

Had an embarrassing moment too...die hard!! I accidentally stepped on my friend's wedding evening dress. Damn!! My friend even managed to capture my blushing face during that moment!! Luckily she was cool with it. =)

Went to Brunei again this morning and just got back home this evening. Tiring day but I have fun thou. As usual, went to hospital to visit aunt. Good news, aunt had been in ICU and under ventilation for almost 2 months now, and she's now showing some improvement. Thank God!! Hope she gets even more better each day!

Well, went to The Mall in bandar today..hehe...Shopping!! Linus wanna buy some stuff but we end up buying nothing. Spotted many gorgeous bags!!! Temptation..but I can't shop cos I'm broke this month due to the two satin dresses I bought last week. One thing I realized, there's so many luxurious stuff like LV, Calvin Klein, D&G, Coach etc...everywhere in every single shop...from boxer, tie, jeans etc...how come ah?? I think they are fake la cos it's kinda cheap. Felt so weird being in those shops. I was curious!!

And I'm also babysitter of the day ..to my naughty little cousin
